3、characterizationoftheflavonoidsinS.tonkinensis.anda1iquidchromatographicmethodwasemployedtosimultaneouslydeterminefivemajoractiveflavonoidsinthiscrudedrug.RESULTS:Seventeenflavonoidswereidentified,amongwhich,sevenwereunambiguouslyidentifiedastrifolirhizin,quercetin,formononetin,macekiain,kurarino

4、ne,sophoranone,andsophoranochromenebycomparingtheirretentiontimes.andUVandMSspectrawiththoseoftheauthenticcompounds,andtheothertenflavonoidsweretentativelyidentifiedbycomparingtheirUVandMS/MSspectrawiththoseofliteraturedata.Furthermore,fivema:ioractiveflavonoids,includingtrifolirhizin.quercetin,m

5、aackiain,sophoranone,andsophoranochromeneweredeterminediuS.tonkinensis.A11calibrationcurvesexpressedgoodlinearity(r>0.9998)wiminthetestranges,andtherecoveryfromthismethodwas96.4O%一104.43%.ThedevelopedHPLCmethodwassuccessfullyappliedtoquantitativelydeterminethefiveflavonoidsinseventeensamplesofton
