2、poseofthepettycashistoreimburseemployeesforsmallpurchasespaidbyemployeesandincurredonbehalfoftheCompany/Propertyandtoprovideadvancesforsmallpurchasesandexpenseswherecashpaymentisrequired.2.POLICIES2.1ThePropertyFinanceManagershallappointaFinanceOfficerasthecustodianforthefloat.Fo

3、rpropertieswheretheFinanceDepartmentislocatedoffsite,thePropertyManagershallappointanofficeratthepropertytobethecustodianforthefloat.2.2Thepettycashistobemaintainedonanimprestsystem.Asageneralguide,theamountofPettyCashFloatateachpropertyshouldnotexceedS$3,000oritsequivalent.Inset

4、tingthePettyCashFloat,thefollowingconsiderationapplies:§Amountshouldbebasedonlocaloperationalneeds;§Amountshouldnotbeexcessive;and§AmountmustbeapprovedbytheCluster/CountryFinanceHead.2.3ItisrecommendedthatthemaximumlimitoftheamountthatcanbedrawnfromthePettyCashFloatperpaymentisS$

5、300(oritsequivalent)oranysmalleramountasdeterminedbytheCluster/CountryFinanceHead.Anypaymentsabovethesaidlimitshouldbeprocessedthroughchequepayments.2.4Thepettycashshallbekeptunderlockandkeyatalltimes.2.5AllpettycashpaymentsmustberaisedthroughPettyCashVouchers(“PCV”).Thedesignate

6、dcustodianofthefundmustcheckandensureallPCVandsupportinginvoices/bills/documentsareproperlyauthorisedbeforeeffectingthecashpayment.2.6Allpettycashvouchersmustbenumbered,signedbytherecipient,stamped“PAID”onsupportinginvoice/billandsubsequentlyfiledinsequentialorder.2.7Surprisepett
