6、ntdilutionmethodrevealedthatmostcontainedlessthanonecopyofHBVkyo,Japan.DNApercell,althoughcellsofmonoclonalorigincarryingintegratedHBVDNAshouldhaveatleastonecopyofit.Therewasnosigni®cantdifferenceinHBVDNApositivitybetweentheHCCpatientswithandwithoutunder
7、lyingcirrhosis.CONCLUSIONS.TheresultsofthisstudycorroboratepreviousreportsoffrequentdetectionofHBVDNAinthelivertissueofanti-HCVpositive/HBsantigennegativepatientswithHCC,butdonotsupportanessentialroleofHBVinhepatocarcino-genesisinpatientswithchronichepat
