5、omwhichtheSproteinwasderived.HigherinfectivityvalueswereobtainedwiththeSARS-CoVSproteinthanwiththeTGEVSprotein.DifferenceswereobservedwithrespecttotheimportanceofthecytoplasmictailandthemembraneanchoroftheSproteins.InthecaseoftheSARS-CoVSprotein,truncationofthecy
6、toplasmictailresultedinincreasedinfectivity.FortheTGEVSprotein,theinactivationofanintracellularretentionsignalinthecytoplasmictailwasrequired.ExchangeofthemembraneReceived16December2008anchoroftheSproteinsledtoalowinfectionefficiency.Ourresultsindicatethatrelated
