4、erminetheincidence,clinicalfeatures,andimpactofbocavirusviralandbacterialpathogensinadultpatients(>18yrs)withsymptomsofRTIinfectionsinalargecohortofFinnishchildren.forlessthantwoweeks.Methods:Thecohortconsistedof1338children<13yearsofage,whowereMethods:Throatandnasopharyngealswabsfrom219out-patients
5、alongprospectivelyfollowedforanysignsofrespiratoryinfectionduringtwoperiodswith100asymptomaticcontrolswereobtainedduringtwowinterseasonsbetweenOctoberandMayin2000–2002.Ateachnewvisittothestudyclinic,(Oct-Apr2006−07and2007−08).Thefollowingagentswereanalysed;anasalswabwascollectedforvirologicaldiagnos
6、is.BocavirusDNAwasRhinovirus,Coronavirus(229E,OC43,NL63),InfluenzaA&Bvirus,detectedinstorednucleicacidextractsusingreal-timePCRwithadual-labelParainfluensavirus1−3,Humanmetapneumovirus,RS-virus,Adenovirus,probe.Wetestedatotalof2930specimensincludingeveryspecimenfromEnterovirus,M.pneumoniae&C.pneumonia
