3、ctedcellsfromcy-topathiceffects(CPE)inducedbySCoV,andinhibitedviralgenomicRNAreplicationinFRhk-4cells(mea-suredbyquantitativeRT-PCR)inadose-dependentmanner.IntracellularviralRNAcopieswerereduced50%byIFN-ataconcentrationof25U/mlandbyIFN-ataconcentrationof14U
4、/ml.IFN-hadfewereffectsoninhibitionofviralinfectionandreplication.ThetypeIIFNreceptorsignalingpathwayinhostcellsismainlyinvolvedintheinhibitionofSCoVinfectionandreplication.TypeIIFNscouldbeusedaspotentialagentsforanti-SARStreatment.NOVELCORONAVIRUS(SCoV)hasb
5、eenidentifiedastheSCoV(moi0.05)bymeasuringtheviralgenomicRNAcopiesAcausativeagentoftherecentworldwideoutbreakofseverebyquantitativeRT-PCRandtheviraltitersbyback-titration.acuterespiratorysyndrome(SARS).(1,2)Coronavirusesarepos-IFNs(recombinantIFN-2a)wasagif
