4、omehotsuddenly.Asaresult,theefficiencyofthefrictionliningsgetsdowntremendously,aswellastheefficiencyofbrakes.Andthebrakingsystemisnolongerreliable.Inordertopreservethesafetyofroad2holding,andtoimprovethetransportationefficiency,weneedtobringdownthebrake’stemperatureandreducet
5、heirheatcharge.Whilethebrakesareworking,mostoftheheatproducedbythemisconvertedtothebradeddrums.Theclearancewillextendafterbecominghot.Thisisharmful.So,thebrakedrumsshouldhavelargehotcapacityandlargemass.Somevehiclesprovidecoolingribsontheoutsidesurfaceofthebrakedrums.Theycani
6、ncreasethesurfaceareaforcoolingandstiffness.Frictionliningshaveweakhot2transmission.Littleheatistransmittedtothebrakeshoesbythem,anditisdifficulttobegivenuptoairflowing.Thefrictionliningsbecomeveryhot,hencetheefficiencyofbrakesdecreaseterribly,anditinfluencethebrakingfunction
7、(Thisphenomenoniscalledthebrake’sheatrecession).Theiranti2corrodecharacteristicsalsogetbadandtheiruseoflifegoesdown.Whentheconditionsareserious,theycouldbedestroyedbyburning.Pointatthisquestionthatbrakeloadistoobig,peopledesignedanauxiliaryequipmentthatappliedbyexhaustgas.Ita
