3、ycamelsfromtwogeographicallyseparatedherdsinJordan.Virussheddingwasonlydetectedinswabsobtainedfromtherespiratorytractandprimarilyobservedincamelsyoungerthan3years.MERS-CoVseroprevalenceincreasedwithageofcamels.Bovineandsheepserawereseronegative.Phylogeneticanalysiso

6、nonefarm(Ramtha)(Fig.1A).InRamtha,ofSaudiArabia(KSA)in2012,thevirushascaused>1700bloodsamplesfromadultsheepandcattlewereadditionallylaboratory-confirmedcasesofdisease,including>600fatalcollected.Swabsampleswerecollectedinvirustransportcases(WHO2016).ThefirstknownMERS-
7、CoVoutbreakinmedium.RNAwasextractedfromsamplesusingthehumans,diagnosedretrospectively,occurredinJordanin2012QiaAmpViralRNAkit(Qiagen).FivemicrolitersofRNA(Hijawietal.2013).Thedromedarycamelhasbeenidentifiedwasusedinaone-stepreal-timeRT-PCRUpEassayforastheprimaryreser
8、voirofMERS-CoV,anddirectevidenceforMERS-CoVusingtheRotor-GeneÔprobekit(Qiagen).zoonotictransmissionfromcamelshasbeenreportedinKSAPositives
