3、usgenesofmurinesingleopenreadingframeof4089nucleotidesencodeshepatitisvirusesshowsthattheBCVSpolypeptideapolypeptideof150Kwith20potentialsitesforcontainsauniquedomainof138aminoacidsnotadditionofN-linkedoligosaccharides.ExpressionofpresentinmurinehepatitisvirusstrainJH
4、M,buttheclonedBCVSgenebyarecombinantofAutographawhichhasapartiallyhomologouscounterpartinstraincalifornicanuclearpolyhedrosisvirusresultedinA59.Thisdomainaccountsformostofthedifferencesproductionofa180KglycosylatedpolypeptidewhichinsizeoftheSgeneproductsofthesecoronav
5、iruses.Introductionand,inavianinfectiousbronchitisvirus,theSpolypep-tidealsoexhibitshaemagglutinatingactivity(MockettetThefamilyCoronaviridaeiscomposedofasinglegenusal.,1984).Studieswithaseriesofmonoclonalantibodiesoflarge,envelopedviruseswhichinfectavarietyofhaveshow
6、nthatboththeSandHEproteinsofBCVmammalianandavianspecies.Thegenomeofthesecontainneutralizingepitopes(Deregt&Babiuk,1987),virusesisasingle-stranded,polyadenylatedRNAofindicatingthatbothplayacriticalroleininfection.In25000to30000nucleotidesassociatedwiththenucleo-orderto
7、analysethebiochemicalandimmunologicalcapsidproteininahelicalconfiguration(MacNaughtonpropertiesoftheindividualviralglycoproteinsofBCV,etal.,1978).TheribonucleoproteinissurroundedbyanwehaveconstructedeDNAclonesrepresentingtheSenvelopewhich,dependingonthevirusstrain,con
