4、ghlyvirulentTGEwithpigletmortalityof36/90,(2)thesevenorallyandstrain.Thepregnantsowswereimmunizedonce(42-49daysintramuscularlyvaccinatedsowswithpigletmortalityof31/51.beforefarrowing)ortwice(42-49and7-15daysbeforeIncontrast,improvedprotectionwasobservedi
5、n(1)the10farrowing)bytheoral,intramuscularorconjuctivalroutewithsowsvaccinatedtwiceorally,withpigletmortalityof23/95,the188-SGstrain.SowsexposedtovirulentTGEVinthefield(2)thefournaturallyinfectedsowswithpigletmortalityofandexperimentallyinfectedsows(twoo
6、ralinoculationsduring6/41,(3)thesixsowsexperimentallyinfectedwithvirulentpregnancy)wereusedaspositivecontrolsleadingtohighTGEVwithpigletmortalityof1/59.Nocorrelationwasfoundprotection.Theneutralizingantibodyresponsetovaccinationbetweenneutralizingantibod
7、iestitersinserumandmilkandand/orinfectionwasstudiedinserumandmilk.Noprotectionprotectionrateofthepiglets.Theresultsindicatethatrelativeagainstmortalitywasobservedinthelittersof(1)thenineprotectivelactogenicimmunityagainstTGEVisinducedonlyseronegative,sus
