Inthe21stcenturyresearchersandscholarsbegantoputemphasisontheapplicationofForeign-relatedhotelandEnglishserviceinpracticalteaching,examiningitinthecognitiveratherthanthebehavioristframework.2.3>2RelatedStudiesatHomeMeanwhile,thestudyofForeign-relatedhotelandEnglishserviceinChinaisroughlyinaccordancewiththewesterncountries.Linguistsandresearchersputtheemphasisindifferentperspectiveslikephonetics,lexicon,syntax,pragmaticsanddiscourseinthestudyofForeign-relatedhotelandEnglishserviceandsincethennearly1000articlesconcernedhavecomeintobeing.GuiShichun(1985)believesthatitisinevitabletohavetheForeign-relatedhotelandEnglishserviceinterferenceinforeignlanguagelearning,especiallywhenthereisabigdifferencebetweenthetargetlanguageandForeign-relatedhotelandEnglishservice.Onthephonologicallevel,GuiCankun(1978)contraststhedifferencesbetweenEnglishandChinesefromdifferentperspectivesasphonemes,tone,intonationandrhythm.GongKajia(1991)looksattheinter-lingualstatusofthelearnersintermsofChineseinfluenceonEnglishintonation.WenandMa(1999)provethatone'soralEnglishability,ChinesewrittenabilityandEnglishexpressiveabilitywillinfluencehistargetlanguagelearningandparticularlyinhiswrittenEnglishlearning.Attheleveloflexis,ZhangYanchang&ZhangErli(1994)comparethedifferencesintermsofthedistributionofpartsofspeech,rationofequivalentsandculture-loadedmeaning,andallthesecouldbethesourcesofChinese-basedtransfer.SyntacticcomparisonandcontrastsaremadebyChenPing(1985),GeXiaoqin(1991),JinJiling(1991)andChenJiangping(19920・ChenPing(1985)makesacomparisonfromtheperspectiveofsyntacticlevelandreportsthatthenegationofChineseinEnglishappearsinlogicalmeaningatthelevelofphraseandsentence.Asforthepragmaticaspect,ZhangWeizu(1994)citessomeofthefrequently-encounteredexamplesandsituationsthatChinesestudentswouldmisusetheirtargetlanguageofEnglish.XiaJimei(1995)analysesthesituationsinwhichChinesestudentsfailtocommunicateeffectively. Chapter3・ResearchDesignItisnodoubtthattheproviderwillmakemistakesduetotheenvironmentimpactofbothathomeandabroad•Inthischapter,thedesignofthepresentresearchwillbediscussedincludingtheresearchquestions,researchsubjects,researchinstrumentsandresearchprocedures.ResearchQuestionsSpokenEnglishfromdifferentaspectsaffecttheforeign-relatedhotelEnglishservicelevels,whichwillcausetheerrorsinstudentsoralexpressionandpreventthemfromexpressingfreelyandeffectively.Throughtheinvestigation,theauthoraimstofindouttheerrorswhicharecausedbytheinterferenceandtheanswerstothefollowingquestions:Whatarethedifferenttypesoferrorsinstudent^oralexpressions?WhatistheenlightenmenttotheteachersoralEnglishteaching?Whydoyouwanttoimprovethelevelofforeign-relatedhotelEnglishservice?ResearchSubjectsThesubjectsinvolvedintheresearchare173students.ThestudentsarealltheEnglishmajorsandrandomlyselectedfromsixdifferentclasses,whocomefromtheCollegeofForeignStudiesofGuangxiNormalUniversity.Thereare87studentsinGradeone,andtherestaresophomores.MostofthemhavestudiedEnglishformorethan7yearssincejuniorhighschoolsothattheyarequitefamiliarwithsomebasicskillsandstrategiesinEFLandcommunicationanditisnotaptforthemtomakemistakes,soitwillsupporttogainthereliablematerialsandmakethestatisticalresultsmorepersuasive・Whatmore,comparingwiththejuniororseniorstudentsoftheEnglishmajors,allthesubjectsarenotinseniorgrade,thustheirEnglishlevelcouldbelabeledasintermediate.Itisheldbysomeresearchersthatlanguagetransfererrorsproducedattheintermediatelevelarecharacteristicallysystematicinnature・ResearchInstrumentsClassobservationisemployedastheinstrumen匸ThepresentauthorobservedtheoralclassesandrecordedthestudentsEnglishspeakingperformancewhichinvolvescertaintopics,suchas“myfamily”,"sameage, differentwoHd","howtochoosearestaurant^"howtoachievesuccess?冷“livinginmydonrTconcerningthestudentsdailylife.Thedifferenttopicsofthespeechcanbebenefitforcoveringmorefieldsandmakethestudentstousethewordstoalargerange.ResearchProceduresThesurveybeganinMay?2014.TherearethreeclassesofGrade2011andanotherthreeinGrade2008randomlyselectedtobeobservedfromtheCollegeofForeignstudiesinGuangxiNormalUniversityandtotally12lessonswererecordedinvolvingthestudentsspeakingperformance. Chapter4・FindingsandDiscussionsTomaketheresearchresultsHighervocationaleducationintrainingappliedtalentsandconveyinghotelplaysanimportantrole,accordingtothesurvey,63%offoreign-relatedhotelmanagementpersonnelgraduatedfromhighervocationalcolleges.ThehotelEnglishcurriculumofhighervocationaleducationincludestourismbasicEnglish,frontdeskroombasicspokenEnglish,hotelandcateringEnglish.Ithasthecharacteristicsofstrongprofessional,practicalandcomprehensive.But,afterinvestigationandstudyfoundthattheEnglishserviceofhotelstafftowritethefollowingproblems:employeesneedtoovercomethelanguagebarrier,thepsychologicalbarriersandculturalbarriers.4>1StrengthentheconstructionofChina'sforeign-relatedhotelEnglishlanguageenvironment.SetupreasonablecurriculumstructureFlexibleteachingcontentGiveprioritytowithstudentsavarietyofteachingmethodsImplementationofavarietyofteachers1roleconversionIncreasetheamountoflanguageinput,setuptheconceptoflifelonglearningTodoagoodjobofinternshipPerseverance,tomemorizeacertainamountofwordseveryday,payattentiontolistening,speaking,reading,writingandtranslating,suchasall-rounddevelopment,cultivatelanguagesenseTrytoimitatetheirlanguagetonetocorrectpronunciation,andtherelatedforeignpersonnelcommunication,morelongtimepracticeAppreciationofforeignfilmandtelevisionworks,fromtheEnglishsongsandmoviesandcorrectaccentLowlevelofeducationasawholeHotelstaffliquidityisbiggerEnglishcommunicationabilityislimitedHotelEnglishcommunicativecompetenceofgraduatesinqualityisnotsogoodForeign-relatedhoteldegreestotheattentionoftheemployees*Englishcommunicativeabilityandnotenough ImprovetheservicelevelofhotelEnglishnecessity4.2.1TheimportanceofEnglishforforeigntalenttrainingNowsmalllanguagelearningcrowdismainlytostudyoremployment.Thenumberofsmalllanguagelearningduetoless,andlesscompetitive.Ascloselywithforeignexchange,foreigncompaniesisbecomingmoreandmoreofthecityfsneedssincerelatedspecialplaceisalsomoreandmore,accordingtoareportintheChinaeducationonline,alongwithourcountryandtheeconomicandtradeexchangesbetweenAsiaandAmericacountriesincreasinglyclose,theobviouscontradictionbetweenminoritylanguagetalentedperson.Jobfairsincollegesanduniversitiesinrecentyears,suchtalentforshouldnotbe,smalllanguageprofessionalnowbecameabighit.Butofallthesmalllanguage,Englishisstilloneofthemostpopularlanguage.Englishisoneofthemaininternationallanguageintheworld,isalsothemostwidelyusedlanguageintheworld.MostoftheinternationalconferenceonEnglishasafirstlanguage,itisalsooneoftheUnitedNationsofficialworkinglanguage.Inshort,ininternationalpolitical,military,economy,scienceandtechnology,culture,trade,transportationandotherfields,EnglishisanimportantcommunicationtoolWiththerapidincreaseinthenumberoftourisminourcountry,astheglobaleconomicdevelopmentpillarindustrydevelopmentmomentum,China'shotelindustryisconstantlyaddingservicestocatertoforeigners1spendinghabits,andthusthefluentEnglish,familiarwithinternationalpracticesandrules,themasterofinternationalhotelmanagementknowledgeandrelevantprofessionalskills,goodEnglishapplicationability,canindependentanalysisandsolvingthepracticalproblemsencounteredinthehotelmanagement,istomeettheinternationalhotelindustrygrowingdemandtothetalentqualityandskill.Forforeign-relatedhotels,Englishserviceistherequirementforemployeesattheveryleast,butoftenisalsotheimportantfactorswhichrestrictthedevelopmentofthehotel.Onlybuildarelaxed,freeandcomfortableenvironment,makeforeignfriendscommunicationupandthereisnoobstaclethatcanmakethemfeelathome.AndallthiswithoutgoodEnglishservicelevels,Englishisnecessaryforcommunicationandcustomerservice,onlyunderstandcustomerrequirements,wecanprovidecustomerswithbetterservice,bettermeettheneedsofcustomers,acceptcustomerfeedback.Second,inthefaceofcustomerrequirementenhancesunceasingly,thehoteldevelopmenttowardthehumanization,diversificationandindividuationdevelopment.StaffEnglishtrainingwork,creatingEnglishlearningenvironmentasoneofthemeanstoimprovethehotelmarketcompetitiveness,makeitbecomeanintegralpartofhotelwork.Therefore,theconstructionofthehotelEnglishenvironmentismustdemandtothedevelopmentofinternationalhotel Chapter5・ConclusionSosomestrategiestoimproveforeign-relatedhotelservicelevelstopromoteoralEnglishteachingandlearningofEnglishBesides,limitationsofthepresentstudyandsuggestionsforfurtherstudyareprovidedattheend・5.1SummaryofthePresentStudyTosumup,theinternational(foreign-related)hoteltostrengthentheconstructionofenvironmentnotonlycompliedwiththedemandofthemarket,isalsotheultimategoalofhighervocationaleducationpersonneltraining.Atpresent,theconstructionofthehotelEnglishcurriculumexplorationisstillinitsinfancy,goalsshouldalsoberefined,thecoursecontentremainstobefull,relevantmaterialstillneedtoimprovetheproblemsandtheinsufficiency,needsfurtherresearchanddiscussion.Therefore,strengthenthehoteltraining,tocreateeffectiveEnglishenvironmentisanimportanttaskofforeign-relatedhotel.InordertocultivatealargenumberofqualifiedforeignhotelserviceEnglishtalents,improvethelevelofChina'sforeign-relatedhotelservice,attractmoreforeigntouriststoChinahotel,weshouldtakepositivemeasurestoimprovetheservicelevelandhotelEnglishprofessionalEnglishteachingquality.ShortageofthestudyThisstudyisjustapreliminaryanalysisofhowtoimprovethelevelofforeign-relatedhotelEnglishservice.Althoughtheauthorshavemadealotofeffortstoensurethattheresearchisconvincingandreasonable,itstillisnotcomprehensive.Restrictedasfollows:first,toimprovetheservicelevelofforeign-relatedhotelEnglishtalentstrainingisanimportantpartofitisnecessarytocollectdataanddiscussitaccurately.ButEnglishserviceresearchneedthesupportofsophisticatedequipment,itishardtogetinnanyang.Therefore,onlyprovidegeneralservicescomparativediscussion.Second,thesampleisnotgreat,theycoveronlyinsufficientmistakes,whichmayleadtoalistoftransmissionerrorofunderstandingisnotdeep.Third,theparticipantsinthestudyofchoiceisnotbigenough,onlyforEnglishmajorstojoin,thiswillmaketheresultsmorerepresentativeandpersuasive.Finally,toacertainextent,somemistakescanbedividedintotwoormorethantwodifferenttypes,butinthestudy,theyarelimitedtoacertaintype. 53Furtherof...thestudyBecauseofthecurrentstudyisregardedasastartingpoint,thispaperdiscusseshowtoimprovethelevelofforeign-relatedhotelEnglishservice,andthentheneedforfurtherstudieswithlargesamplesizeandmoreadvancedresearchtools.Suggestedtopicsshouldbechosenfromdifferentgradesanddifferentclasses,andevenfromdifferentareas.Thesampleshouldbeselectediswidespread,longitudinal,thereforetheresultswillbemorepersuasiveandconvincing.InthepresentstudyinvolvesonlyforEnglishmajors,itisrecommendedthatthenon-Englishmajorstudentsshouldparticipateinfurtherresearch・Inaddition,moreresearchmethodsshouldbeapplied,suchasobservation,questionnairesurveyandinterviews,teachingstrategyshouldbetotheteachingpracticetocheckwhethertheyhavethehelp.HopethisresearchcanprovidesomehelptosomeextentintheoralEnglishteachinginChinesecontext,furtherresearchshouldexploreitmoredetailedandconcise.
