2、ofageingpeoplewithoutcognitivecomplaintsisgenerallycharacteristicofcerebralatrophy,lacunarinfarctionandwhitematterlesionsinvariousdegrees.Cliniciansoftenstruggletoexplaintheimplicationsofthesefindingstotheirpatients-Recentstudiessuggestedthecorrelati
3、onbetweencognitivefunctionandthesethreeimagingfeatures.Thedegreeofcognitiveimpairmentiscorrelatedtowholebrainatrophy,andlocalatrophymayshowspecialcognitivedysfunction.Butitisreportedthatthecognitionoflocalbrainisdependentontheassociationbetweenwholeb
4、rainvolumeandgeneralcognitivefunction.Vascularcognitiveimpairment(VCI)derivedfromsubcorticalischemicvasculardisease(SIVD)representedimpairmentofexecutivefunctionratherthanothercognitivefunction.However,theydidn^telucidatetheirsingleorcombinedeffecton
5、cognition.Moreover,variousdetailedneuropsychologicaltestarerarelyappliedinthesestudiesandtheycarftobtaindiversedomainsofcognitivefunction.Objective:Toinvestigatetheneuroimagingfeatureinagingadultswithoutcognitivecomplaints,includingnormalpeopleandpeo
6、plewithasymptomaticpathology,andexplorethesingleandcombinedeffectsofbrainatrophy,lacunarinfarctionandwhitematterlesionsoncognitivefunctioninageingadultswithoutcognitivecomplaints.Method:Inasampleof57people,withoutcognitivecomplaints,aged60—90yearsofn
7、eurologyapartmentsofthesecondaffiliatedhospitalofGuangzhouMedicalUniversity,cerebralmagneticresonanceimagingwasperformedandadetailedneuro-psychologicaltestbatteryapplied,suchasMini-MentalStateExamination(MMSE),MontrealCognitiveAssessment(MoCA),FludOb
