2、swhoareformallytrainedinatleastthebasicprinciplesofchemicalanalysisandintheuseofthesubjecttechnology.Inaddition,SW-846methods,withtheexceptionofrequiredmethodusefortheanalysisofmethod-definedparameters,areintendedtobeguidancemethodswhichcontaingeneralinformationonhowtoperf
3、ormananalyticalprocedureortechniquewhichalaboratorycanuseasabasicstartingpointforgeneratingitsowndetailedStandardOperatingProcedure(SOP),eitherforitsowngeneraluseorforaspecificprojectapplication.Theperformancedataincludedinthismethodareforguidancepurposesonly,andarenotinte
4、ndedtobeandmustnotbeusedasabsoluteQCacceptancecriteriaforpurposesoflaboratoryaccreditation.1.0SCOPEANDAPPLICATION1.1Thismethodusesionchromatography(IC)coupledwithelectrosprayionization(ESI)massspectrometry(MS)ortandemmassspectrometry(MS/MS)forthedeterminationofperchloratei
