6、ationand/orrepression,ofgeometryfromtheexistentialpraxisoflandsurveyinginancientEgypt,SchmittdiagnosesasimilardegradationinthedissociationofthejuridicaltraditionfromthebrutegeographicalfactofLandnahme,thatistosay,theseizureandoccupationoflandassuch.(Itshouldbeadd
7、edthatthesetermsaremisnomersandanachronisms,insofarastheycodifyorideologicallyappropriatethesituationof‘‘landcapture’’foragivenhis-toricalnomos.Thisqualification,however,makesitclearthatforSchmitttheconceptofthenomosisakindofequivalentofthefunctionofthe‘‘modeofpro
