4、inedoralcontraceptivepills(alsoknownastheYuzperegimen).Whatisemergencycontraception?Emergencycontraception,orpost-coitalcontraception,referstomethodsofcontraceptionthatcanbeusedtopreventpregnancyinthefirst5daysaftersexualintercourse.Itisintendedforusefollowingunprot

5、ectedintercourse,contraceptivefailureormisuse(suchasforgottenpills,orbreakageorslippageofcondoms),rapeorcoercedunprotectedsex.Emergencycontraceptioniseffectiveonlyinthefirstfewdaysfollowingintercoursebeforetheovumisreleasedfromtheovaryandbeforethespermfertilizestheo

6、vum.Emergencycontraceptioncannotinterruptanestablishedpregnancyorharmadevelopingembryo.Whoneedsemergencycontraception?Anywomanorgirlofreproductiveagemayneedemergencycontraceptiontoavoidanunwantedpregnancy.Inwhatsituationsshouldemergencycontraceptionbeused?Emergencyc
