3、ubledhistoricalrelationshipbetweenthetwocountries.●PresidentPutinandPrimeMinisterKoizumiareneverthelessseekingtobuildacloserbilateralpartnershipbasedonRusso-JapanesecooperationindevelopingSiberia’senergyresources.●TheprospectsforthispartnershipdependinpartonKoizumi’sabilitytodemonst
