4、sightsemerginginotherdisciplines.Thepurposeofthisseriesistocompileaseriesofhandbooks,eachdevotedtoaparticularissueintheentrepreneurship.Eachhandbookwilldrawupontheleadinginternationalscholarsfromtheentirerangeofdisciplinescontributingtoentrepreneurshiptoarticulatethesta
5、teofknowledgeaboutaparticulartopic.Thecontributionshouldidentifythefundamentalquestions,whicharebeingposed,themethodologicalapproaches,typesofdatabasesusedforempiricalanalyses,themostimportantempiricalregularitiestoemergeintheliterature,majorpolicyconclusions,andthemost
6、promisingresearchdirection.Thus,eachhandbookwillreflecttheinterdisciplinarynatureofentrepreneurshipthathasproventobeelusivetodiscipline-basedscholars.AgoaloftheInternationalHandbookSeriesonEntrepreneurshipisnotonlytoprovideastate-of-the-artcoverageofwhathasbeenlearnedab
