3、fWomenWorkersTradeUnionCentreonMarch8,2005.disciplines,itemergedfromthesefeministmovements[5][6]andincludesgeneraltheoriesandtheoriesabouttheoriginsofinequality,and,insomecases,aboutthesocialconstructionofsexandgender.Feministactivistshavecampaignedforwomen'srights—suchasincontract,proper
4、ty,andvoting—whilealsopromotingwomen'srightstobodilyintegrityandautonomyandreproductiverights.Theyhaveopposeddomesticviolence,sexualharassment,andsexualassault.Ineconomics,theyhaveadvocatedforworkplacerights,includingequalpayandopportunitiesforcareersandtostartbusinesses.Someoftheearlierf
5、ormsoffeminismhavebeencriticizedforbeinggearedtowardswhite,middle-class,educatedperspectives.Thisledtothecreationofethnically-specificormulticulturalistformsoffeminism.HistoryDependingontime,cultureandcountry,feministsaroundtheworldhavesometimeshaddifferentcausesandgoals.Mostwesternfemini
6、sthistoriansassertthatallmovementsthatworktoobtainwomen'srightsshouldbeconsideredfeministmovements,evenwhentheydidnot(ordonot)applythetermtothemselves.[7][8][9][10][11][12][13]Otherhistoriansassertthatthetermshouldbelimitedtothemodernfeministmovementanditsdescendants.Thosehistoriansusethe
