5、emicstudies,highlaborforceparticipationsignifiessocialequalityforwomen,aswellassuccessfulintegrationforimmigrants.ThispaperusestheexperiencesandattitudesofimmigrantwomeninSwedenasaplatformtostudythelinksbetweenSweden’sprogressivegendernorms,employmentculture,andimmigrationpolicies.Iexaminepre-
6、immigrationandpost-immigrationfactorsthatmayaffectwomen’sattitudesaboutworkingaftertheymovetoSweden.Icategorizethisresearchasastudyof“culturalemploymentintegration”tosignifythatitcombinesnotionsofculturalandeconomicimmigrantintegration.Idesignedthestudytotakeintoaccountthediverseculturalfactor
