4、eputieselectedbythearmedforces.DeputiestotheNPCareorganizedintodelegationsaccordingtotheunitstheyareelectedfrom.Eachdelegationisheadedyachairmanandvicechairmen.Alltheethnicminoritiesareentitledtoappropriaterepresentation.TheNPCiselectedforatermoffiveyears.TheStandingCommitteeoftheNPCmustensurethecom

5、pletionofelectionofdeputiestothesucceedingNPCtwomonthspriortotheexpirationofthetermofofficeofthecurrentNPC.Shouldextraordinarycircumstancespreventsuchanelection,itmaybepostponedandthetermofofficeofthecurrentNPCextendedbythedecisionofavoteofmorethantwo-thirdsofallthoseontheStandingCommitteeofthecurre

6、ntNPC.TheelectionofdeputiestothesucceedingNPCmustbecompletedwithinoneyearaftertheterminationofsuchextraordinarycircumstances.TheNPCmeetsinsessiononceayearandisconvenedbyitsStandingCommittee.AsessionoftheNPCmaybeconvenedatanytimetheStandingCommitteedeemsitnecessaryorwhenmorethanone-fifthofthedeputies
