4、ether30March2012increasedinter-letterspacingaffectsthereadingtimesandcomprehensionofashorttext.Tothatend,Accepted2April2012weconductedaseriesoflexicaldecisionandcontinuousreadingexperimentsinwhichwordswerepresentedwiththedefaultsettingsorwithasmallincreaseininte

5、r-letterspacing.IncreasedspacingKeywords:producedshorterwordidentificationtimesnotonlywithadultskilledreaders(Experiment1),butalsoWordrecognitionwithyoungnormalreaders(Grade2andGrade4children;Experiment2)and,eventoalargerdegree,LetterpositioncodingReadingdevelopm
