4、in-sizedbioorthogonalnanozymesthroughtheencapsulationofhydrophobictransitionmetalcatalystsintothemonolayerofwater-solublegoldnanoparticles.Theactivityofthesecatalystscanbereversiblycontrolledbybindingasupramolecularcucurbit[7]uril‘gate-keeper’ontothemonolayersurface,providingabio

5、mimeticcontrolmechanismthatmimicstheallostericregulationofenzymes.Thepotentialofthisgatednanozymeforuseinimagingandtherapeuticapplicationswasdemonstratedthroughtriggeredcleavageofallylcarbamatesforpro-fluorophoreactivationandpropargylgroupsforprodrugactivationinsidelivingcells.ioo
