3、cstackinginteractions,metalcoordination,andhost−guestinteractions,endowssupramolecularpolymerswithuniquestimuliresponsivenessandself-adjustingabilities.Asaresult,diversemonomerstructureshavebeendesignedandsynthesizedtoconstructvarioustypesofsupramolecularpolymers.Bych
4、angingthenoncovalentinteractiontypes,numbers,orchemicalstructuresoffunctionalgroupsinthesemonomers,supramolecularpolymericmaterialscanbepreparedwithtailoredchemicalandphysicalproperties.Inrecentyears,theinterestinsupramolecularpolymershasbeenextendedfromthepreparation
5、ofintriguingtopologicalstructurestothediscoveriesofpotentialapplicationsasfunctionalmaterials.Comparedwithtraditionalpolymers,supramolecularpolymersshowsomeadvantagesinthefabricationofreversibleorresponsivematerials.Thedevelopmentofsupramolecularpolymersalsooffersaplat
6、formtoconstructcomplexandsophisticatedmaterialswithabottom-upapproach.Macrocylichosts,includingcrownethers,cyclodextrins,calixarenes,cucurbiturils,andpillararenes,arethemostcommonlyusedbuildingblocksinthefabricationofhost−guestinteraction-basedsupramolecularpolymers.W
7、iththeintroductionofcomplementaryguestmolecules,macrocylichostsdemonstrateselectiveandstimuli-responsivehost−guestcomplexationbehaviors.Byelaboratemoleculardesign,theresultantsupramolecularpolymerscanexhibitdiversestructuresbasedontheself-selectivityofhost−guestintera
