4、ats.PositronemissiontomographyandSPECTshowedinitialhypoperfusionfollowedbyrecoveryatimmediatereperfusion,hypoperfusionatday1,andhyperperfusionatdays4to7.Hyperperfusioninterestedthewholebrain,includingnonischemicareas.Immunohistochemicalanalysisindicatedactiveangiogene

5、sisatdays2to7,stronglysuggestivethathyperperfusionwassupportedbyanincreaseinmicrovesseldensityinbothbrainhemispheresafterischemia.TheSWIdetectedelasticchangesofcerebraltissueintheischemicareaasearlyasday1afterMCAOappearingasasofteningofcerebraltissuewhoselocalinternal

6、elasticitydecreasedcontinuouslyfromday1to7.Takentogether,theseresultssuggestthathyperperfusionaftercerebralischemiaisduetoformationofneovessels,andindicatethatbrainsofteningisanearlyandcontinuousprocess.TheSWIisapromisingnovelimagingmethodformonitoringtheevolutionofce
