2、thebasestationsonagrid,withmobileuserseitherrandomlythatislessthanonetothetwousersinthetwoneighboringscatteredorplaceddeterministically.Thesemodelshavebeencells.Thisisahighlyinaccuratemodelunlessthereisausedextensivelybutsufferfrombeingbothhighlyidealizedandverylargeamountofinterferenceaveragingov
3、erspace,suchnotverytractable,socomplexsystem-levelsimulationsareusedtoevaluatecoverage/outageprobabilityandrate.Moretractableasintheuplinkofheavily-loadedCDMAsystems[4].Thismodelshavelongbeendesirable.Wedevelopnewgeneralmodelsphilosophicalapproachofdistillingother-cellinterferencetoforthemulti-cel
4、lsignal-to-interference-plus-noiseratio(SINR)afixedvaluehasalsobeenadvocatedforCDMAin[5]andusingstochasticgeometry.Underverygeneralassumptions,theusedinthelandmarkpaper[6],whereother-cellinterferenceresultingexpressionsforthedownlinkSINRCCDF(equivalentwasmodeledasaconstantfactorofthetotalinterferen
5、ce.Fortothecoverageprobability)involvequicklycomputableintegrals,andinsomepracticalspecialcasescanbesimplifiedtocommoncellularsystemsusingorthogonalmultipleaccesstechniquesintegrals(e.g.,theQ-function)oreventosimpleclosed-formsuchasinLTEandWiMAX,theWynermodelandrelatedexpressions.Wealsoderivethemea
6、nrate,andthenthecoveragemean-valueapproachesareparticularlyinaccurate,sincethegain(andmeanrateloss)fromstaticfrequencyreuse.WeSINRvaluesoveracellvarydramatically.Nevertheless,itcompareourcoveragepredictionstothegridmodelandanhasbeencommonlyusedevenuptothepresenttoevalu-actualbasestationdeployment,
7、andobservethattheproposedmodelispessimistic(alowerboundoncoverage)whereasthegridatethe“capacity”ofmulticellsystemsundervarioustypesmodelisoptimistic,andthatbothareaboutequallyaccurate.Inofmulticellcooperation[7]–
