4、putAmericansbacktoworkandprovidedaneconomicsafetynet.oTheGreatDepressionandtheNewDealdramaticallychangedthelivesofmostAmericansandbegantochangeboththeirunderstandingoftheeconomicsystemandtheroleofgovernmentinAmericanlife.oTheNewDealhadmanylongtermeffectsonUnitedStat
5、esgovernmentandsociety;andasaresultoftheNewDeal,theroleoftheFederalgovernmentchanged,transformingAmericanpolitics,theeconomyandsociety.oBusinesswasboominginthe1920’sandthestandardoflivingroseformanyAmericansbringingmanysocial,economicandpoliticalchanges.Inventionsan
6、dtechnologicaladvancestransformedproductionandwork,aswellasruralandurbanlife.oSocialandpoliticalchangesinsocietybroughtnewattitudesandlifestylestothenation,bustsomechangescausedconflict.oPopularculturewasinfluencedbythemassmediaandnewformsofpopularentertainmentandte
