3、qualitativedata.Thisincludesstudentinterviews,teacherinterviews,classroomobservation,writtenandoralworkproducedbystudents,documentationproducedforcourses,andpolicystatementsfromnationalandinstitutionalsources.ThisarticlefocusesontherelationshipbetweentheModernLanguagescurr
4、iculum,particularlylanguageteachingandlearning,andthedevelopmentofcriticality.Drawinguponevidencefromthequalitativedata,itoutlinesthewaysinwhichthecoursescanbeseentocontributetothedevelopmentofwidersocialcompetences.Finallyitdiscussesthedistinctivenessofthecontributiontocr
