2、BSTRACTGreenbuildingconstructionisearningaplaceinSingapore’sconstructionindustry,and,withaugmentingcognizanceofenvironmentalissuesandgrowingconcernoverclimatechange,sustainableconstructionisgraduallybeingputforthglobally.However,construc-tionofgreenbuildingsinSingaporestillencountersimpediments,as
3、thereisalackofproperprojectmanagementframeworkforsuchprojects.Basedonsurveyandinterviewresultsfrom31industryexperts,thisstudyaimstoidentifycommonobstaclesencounteredduringmanagementofgreenconstructionprojects,ultimatelyproposingsomesolutionstoovercomethebarriers.Thefindingsfromthisstudyrevealthat,a
4、lthoughprojectcostistheparamountbarrieramongothersingreenbuildingconstructionmanagement,thereisnopaucityinsustainableknowledgeinSingapore’sconstructionindustry.Todealwiththecostrelatedproblem,thecoverageofgovernmentincentivesshouldbewidenedtoincludetheusageofgreenproductsandtechnologies.Furthermor
