4、estedon12patients(sevenmen,fivewomen;averageage,67.5years)LawderHJ,PavlicekWwhohadpreviouslyundergoneroutine-doseCT.Tworadiologistsblindedtoscanningtech-niqueevaluatedimagesofthesamepatientsobtainedwithroutine-doseCTandlow-doseCTwithandwithoutadaptivestatisticaliterativ

5、ereconstruction.Imagenoise,low-contrastreso-lution,imagequality,andspatialresolutionweregradedonascaleof1(best)to4(worst).Quantitativenoisemeasurementsweremadeonclinicalimages.RESULTS.Inthephantom,low-andhigh-contrastanduniformityassessmentsshowednosignificantdifference

6、betweenroutine-doseimagingandlow-doseCTwithadaptivesta-tisticaliterativereconstruction.Inpatients,low-doseCTwithadaptivestatisticaliterativere-constructionwasassociatedwithCTdoseindexreductionsof3265%comparedwithroutineimagingandhadtheleastnoisebothquantitativelyandqua

7、litatively(p<0.05).Low-doseCTwithadaptivestatisticaliterativereconstructionandroutine-doseCThadidenticalresultsforlow-contrastresolutionandnearlyidenticalresultsforoverallimagequality(grade2.12.2).Spatialresolutionwasbetterwithroutine-doseCT(p=0.004).CONCLUSION.Thesepr
