3、yanide,turbidity,conductivityandselectedmetalsandarsenic.ThemineconstructedatreatmentfacilityincollaborationwithPollutiontoWater(P2W)andIsraeliCompanythatefficientlyremovedfreecyanidesandturbidity,anddecreasedthepH.Sincethequalitynevermetallthesectorspecificeffluentguidelines,thepartiallytr
4、eatedwaterhadtobestoredintheblock4pit(approximately1.83millioncubicmeters).Thisstudyaimedatas-sessingthecurrentwaterqualityoftheBlock4pitforaninformeddecision.Samplesofwaterweretakenatsurface,middleandbottomlayersofthepitfortheanalysesofmetalsandarsenicandrelevantphysiochem-icalvariabl
5、esindicativeofpollution.Itisevidentfromthesequencethatmetalandarsenicconcentrationofthesurfacewaterlayerisareflectionoftheentirewatercolumn.Itwasrecommendedthatmediafiltersandreverseosmosisbeinstalledtohandletherestoftheparametersintheblock4pitwaterandanyotherwatersonthemineforittomeetth
