2、09AbstractWeiRiveristhemajorsourceofwaterfortheIntroductionurbanresidents,industrialproductionandagriculturalactivitiesinthecentralShaanxiplainofChina.WaterFreshwaterplaysuniquerolesforsocietyandforeco-qualityoftheWeiRiverwasdeterminedbycollectingnomicdevelopmentthroughprovision(e.g.,products,wat

3、ersamplesfrom25locationsalongtheBaojiXianfood),support(e.g.,wastewaterprocessing,supplyofreachandanalyzingforpH,EC,BOD5,DO,COD,F,Se,cleanwater),andenrichment(e.g.,aesthetic,recreational,As,andHg.Fuzzysyntheticevaluationwiththeentropycultural)services(Yangetal.2007).Thegrowingdemandmethodforweight

4、determinationwasusedtoassesstheforfreshwaterresourcestosustainhumanactivities,cou-waterqualityoftheriver.Resultsindicatethatthewaterpledwithadverseeffectsofhumanactivities,suchasqualityof23samplingsitesfallintothefifthgrade(baddischargeofindustrialwastewateranddomesticsewage,level),whereastwosampl

5、ingsitesareinthefourthgradearelikelytocauseacrisisinthenearfutureifwater(poorlevel).Thecomparisonofthismethodwiththeresourcesarenotappropriatelymanaged(CharkhabiandtypicalfuzzysyntheticevaluationshowsthatitiseffectiveSakizadeh2006).Theshortageofwaterresourcesandinwaterqualityassessment.Theassessm

6、entresultsindi-waterpollutionisveryseriousinthearidandsemi-aridcatethattheWeiRiverisheavilypollutedatmostoftheareasofNorthwesternChina.Strengtheningwaterqualitysamplinglocations,withmercuryasthemajorpollutant.managementandconservationofimpoverishedwaterStrictenforcementoftheregulationsfordomestic
