6、tropicparameters,revealsthatthemantlelithosphereconsistsofdomainswithconsistentolivinefabrics,whichcanbemodelledbyperidotiteaggregateswithplungingfoliationorlineation.Changesofthefossilfabricallowustomapthedomainboundarieswithinthemantlelithosphere.Weproposeprocesseswhichco

7、uldcreatetheobservedfossilfabricasaconsequenceofsuccessivesubductionandaccretionofmicro-continentfragmentsoutboardofcontinentalcratonsandagradualstabilizationoftheLABbyamantleflowafteradetachmentofthelowerpartsofsubductingslabs.Weadvocatetheimportanceofcombiningdifferentmeth
