4、long-standinggoalquantummemoriesandsignificantprogresshasbeenachieved.torealizescalablequantuminformationprocessingistobuildHowever,anefficientandlong-livedquantummemoryremainsalong-livedandefficientquantummemory.Therehavebeenchallenging.Forexample,th
5、elifetimeoftheatomicquantumsignificanteffortsdistributedtowardsthisgoal.However,memoryhasbeenexperimentallyimprovedtothemillisecondeitherefficientbutshort-lived3,4orlong-livedbutinefficientregimeeitherbyincreasingthespinwavewavelength5orconfiningquantum
6、memories5–7havebeendemonstratedsofar.Heretheatomsinanopticallattice6,7,buttheintrinsicretrievalwereportahigh-performancequantummemoryinwhichefficiencyislessthan25%.Efficientquantummemorieshavebeenlonglifetimeandhighretrievalefficiencymeetforthefirstdem
7、onstratedinatomic3andsolid-statemedia4,reachingretrievaltime.Byplacingaringcavityaroundanatomicensemble,efficienciesupto84%and69%,respectively.However,theobservedemployingapairofclockstates,creatingalong-wavelengthlifetimeswereseverelylimited(240nsan
8、d3srespectively).Thespinwaveandarrangingtheset-upinthegravitationalinabilitytoachievebothlonglifetimeandhighretrievalefficiencydirection,werealizeaquantummemorywithanintrinsicinasinglequantummemorystronglylimitsmoreadvancedspinwavetophotonconversion
9、efficiencyof73(2)%togetheroperations,suchascreatingorpurifyingentanglement22betweenwithastoragelifetimeof3.2(1)ms.Thisrealizationprovidestwoormorequantumrepeaternodesorentanglingsixatomicanessentialtooltowardsscalablelinear-opticalquantumensemblestoge
