3、s,researchersbegantousestatisticalclassificationisthefirststepofnetworktrafficanalysis,anditandbehaviouralclassificationapplyingMachineLearningisthecoreelementofnetworkintrusiondetectionsystems(IDS).Althoughthetechniquesofclassificationhaveimproved(ML)techniques.Thesetechniquesareusedtoallocate,a

4、ndtheiraccuracyhasbeenenhanced,thegrowingtrendofcontrol,andmanagenetworkresources.Classificationisanencryptionandtheinsistenceofapplicationdeveloperstoessentialcomponentofintrusiondetectionsystems(IDS),createnewwaystoavoidapplicationsbeingfilteredandwhichareusedtodetectmaliciousactivities.Infact,

5、realdetectedareamongthereasonsthatthisfieldremainsopenfortimetrafficanalysishasthepotentialtosolveproblemsinfurtherresearch.Thispaperdiscusseshowresearchersapplynetworkmanagement,security,andforensicsbycorrelatingMachineLearning(ML)algorithmsinseveralclassificationnetworktrafficpatternswiththegen

6、eratingapplications.techniques,utilisingthestatisticalpropertiesofthenetworktrafficflow.Italsooutlinesthenextstageofourresearch,Morerecently,somegovernmentshaverequiredInternetwhichinvolvesinvestigatingdifferentclassificationtechniquesServiceProviders(ISPs)torecogniseexactlywhattypeof(supervised,

7、semi-supervised,andunsupervised)thatuseMLtrafficflowsovertheirnetworks,andhaveimposedclearalgorithmstocopewithreal-worldnetworktraffic.ISPobligationstoperformlawfulinterceptionsofnetworktraffic[7].Networktrafficclassif
