2、Fellow,IEEEAbstract—Inthispaper,anewcontrolmethodfortheparallelextendedbyaglobalintegralcontrolthroughlowbandwidthcom-operationofinvertersoperatinginanislandgridorconnectedmunication[1],combiningbothredundancyandintegralcontrol.toaninfinitebusisdescribed.Frequencyandvoltagecont
3、rol,in-Inthispaper,onlythelocaldroopcontrol,withoutcommunica-cludingmitigationofvoltageharmonics,areachievedwithoutthetion,iselaborated.Theglobalintegralcontrolmayberegardedneedforanycommoncontrolcircuitryorcommunicationbetweeninverters.Eachinvertersuppliesacurrentthatistheres
4、ultoftheasapossible,thoughnotnecessary,extension.voltagedifferencebetweenareferenceacvoltagesourceandtheThispaperstartswithareviewofthedroopcontrolmethod.gridvoltageacrossavirtualcompleximpedance.ThereferenceacAlthoughthismethodperformswellforinductivelines,thevoltagesourceiss
5、ynchronizedwiththegrid,withaphaseshift,performanceincaseofresistivelinesispoor.Inthispaper,dependingonthedifferencebetweenratedandactualgridfre-itisshownhowtheclassicaldroopmethodcaneasilybequency.Adetailedanalysisshowsthatthisapproachhasasupe-riorbehaviorcomparedtoexistingmet
6、hods,regardingthemitiga-adaptedtoaccountforthegridimpedance,providinggoodtionofvoltageharmonics,short-circuitbehaviorandtheeffective-performanceunderallconditions.Amajorbenefitofthisnessofthefrequencyandvoltagecontrol,asittakesthetotechniqueisespeciallyprevalentinlow-voltagecab
7、legrids,lineimpedanceratiointoaccount.Experimentsshowthebehaviorgenerallyhavingamainlyresistivelineimpedance.Intheseofthemethodforaninverterfeedingahighlynonlinearloadandgrids,theproposedtechniqueisappreciablymoreefficientinduringtheconnectionoftwoparallelinvertersinoperation.c
