4、rMiocenesubmarinecanyon1February2016systemwithwaterdepthover1300m.Inthisstudy,thegeochemistry,originandaccumulationmodelsAccepted4February2016ofthesegaseswereinvestigated.TheresultsrevealthatthegasesarepredominatedbyhydrocarbonAvailableonline8February2016gases(98%e99%
5、byvolume),withtheratioofC1/C1-5rangingfrom0.92to0.94,andtheyarecharac-terizedbyrelativelyheavyd13C(36.8‰to39.4‰)anddDvalues(144‰to147‰),similartoKeywords:1CH4thethermogenicgasesdiscoveredintheshallowwaterareaofthebasin.TheC5-7lighthydrocarbonsGasoriginGasaccumulat
6、ionmodelassociatedwiththesegasesaredominatedbyisoparaffins(35%e65%),implyinganoriginfromhigherDeepwaterareaplants.Fortheassociatedcondensates,carbonisotopiccompositionsandhighabundanceofoleananeQiongdongnanbasinandpresenceofbicadinanesshowcloseaffinitywiththosefromtheYC
7、13-1gasfieldintheshallowSouthChinaseawaterarea.AllthesegeochemicalcharacteristicscorrelatewellwiththosefoundintheshalesoftheOligoceneYachengFormationintheQiongdongnanBasin.TheYachengFormationinthedeepwaterareahasTOCvaluesintherangeof0.4e21%andcontainstypeIIbeIIIgas-pro
8、nekerogens,indicatinganexcellentgassourcerock.Thekineticmodelingresultsshowthatthed13Cvaluesofthegasgenerated1fromtheYacheng
