5、enreviewedwithafocusontheirabilitytogeneratetheappro-priatedeformationresponseandtoinducetheprototypicalmultiaxialstressstatesandfailuremodesactivatedduringaRIA.Twomaingroupsoftestscurrentlyexist.Inthefirstgroup,thedeformationbehaviorofthecladdingisexaminedbyseveralvariationsofhooptensiletestsinw
6、hichanaxialcontrac-tionofthespecimengagesectionoccurssuchthatanear-uniaxialtensionstressstateresults;finiteele-mentanalysesarethenusuallyemployedtodeducethedeformationresponse,oftenunderconditionsofanassumedcoefficientoffrictionbetweenthespecimenandtestfixtures.Thesecondgroupincludestestproceduresw
