3、edanalogcontrollerwithinputdelaycanbeimplementedwithadigitalcontroller.AtraditionalanalogSmithpredictorsystemisreformulatedintoanaugmentedsystem,whichisthendigitallyredesignedusingthepredictedintersamplingstates.Thepaperextendstheprediction-baseddigitalred
4、esignmethodfromadelayfreefeedbacksystemtoaninputtime-delaycascadedsystem.Atuningparametervisoptimallydeterminedonlinesuchthatinanysamplingperiod,theoutputresponseerrorbetweentheoriginalanalogouslycontrolledtime-delaysystemandthedigitallycontrolledsampled-d
