3、choice,isdefinedastheeconomicanalysisofpolitics.Butitsexponentsclaimthatpoliticaleconomicsisnotacomplement,butthesuccessorofpublicchoice,anewparadigmreplacingthepublic-choiceapproach.Weevaluatethisclaimofpoliticaleconomicsinthreefields:politicalbusinesscycles,integrationandsecession,andcons
