2、essinChina,followingupwiththereleaseofthefirstinstallmentinthewhitepaperseries,“FromSocialMediatoSocialBusiness”in2011.Inthepast2years,wehavebeendelightedtoseesocialbusinessblossomtobemorethanaconcept.Acrossindustries,organizationsareexploringandpract
3、icingsocialbusinessfromdifferentanglesandbydifferentmeans.Forexample,socialmarketinghasbecomeanessentialcomponentofcorporatemarketingstrategyandenterprisesareincreasinglymonitoringonlinediscussionstowarnofpotentialcrisesandenhancecustomerservice.Howev
4、er,ourongoingobservationofChina’sdigitalecosystemhashighlightedthattherearestillorganizationslackinginacomprehensiveunderstandingofsocialbusinesspracticesandimplications.Often,adoptionofsocialbusinessstallsatsocialmarketingorcrisismonitoring.Whereaswe
5、wouldneverplaydownthisapplication,itdoessuggestthat,tosomeextent,thefarreachingsignificanceofsocialbusinessremainsundervalued.Asenterpriseremainstentativeinitsexplorationofthefullpotentialofitssocialbusinessundertaking,organizationalinnovationviasocia
6、lbusinesshasbeenreluctanttostraybeyondsocialmarketingcampaigns.Asaresult,the3rdandfinalinstallmentinthe"FromSocialMediatoSocialBusiness”whitepaperseries,“SocialBusinessDevelopmentRoadmapinChina”,isaimedatleadingbusinessintohithertounchartedterritory.I
7、nthe1stsectionofthiswhitepaper,"TheCoreandExtensionofSocialBusiness”,welayoutathoroughanalysisofsocialbusinessfromtheperspectiveofoperations.Weestablishtheconceptsof‘core’and‘extension’basedonglobalstandardsandCIC’sownsocialbusinessresearch,clarifying
8、whatactuallyconstitutessocialbusinessanditsultimatesignificancetoenterprisetodayaninthefuture.The2ndsection,“EnterpriseSocialBusinessMaturityRoadmap”,examineshoworganizationsachievesocialbusinessevolution.Tosupportthis,wesurveyed350professiona
