3、errelationshipofscalepredictionandcontrolandthecurrentresearchatRiceoftheseparameters.Universitytosolvetheseproblems.Inthispaper,thechallengesofscalepredictionathightemperature,highpressure,andhighCommonScaleTypesFoundinOilandtotaldissolvedsolids(TDS)andanaccuratemodeltopredictpH,GasPro
4、ductionscaleindices,density,andinhibitorneedsattheseconditionsareCommonoilfieldscalescanbeclassifiedinto“pH-independent”discussedandreviewed:specificallydiscussedare(1)thevariousand“pH-sensitive”scales.Thescalingtendencyofsulfates(cal-scaletypesfoundinoilandgasproductionandtheconditionu
5、nderciumsulfates,barite,andcelestite)andhalitescalesarenotawhichtheyform;(2)therelationshipofpH,alkalinity,organicstrongfunctionofbrinepH.Althoughsulfatescaleformationisacids,carbonates,andCO2distribution;(3)thetemperature(T),notpHsensitive,oftentheinhibitorreactionissensitivetopH,aspre
