6、toembracesounderprinciples.Thosewhohavedeniedtherealityofmoraldistinctions,mayberankedamongthedisingenuousdisputants;norisitconceivable,thatanyhumancreaturecouldeverseriouslybelieve,thatallcharactersandactionswerealikeentitledtotheaffectionandregardofevery
7、one.Thedifference,whichnaturehasplacedbetweenonemanandanother,issowide,andthisdifferenceisstillsomuchfartherwidened,byeducation,example,andhabit,that,wheretheoppositeextremescomeatonceunderourapprehension,thereisnoscepticismsoscrupulous,andscarceanyassuran
