2、erityandcertainvaluableexperiencewhichcanbenefitourlanguagelearning.Tobeginwith,behavioristsregardFLAasageneraldevelopment.Secondly,behavioristslaystressonrepeatedpracticeoflanguagelearning.What’smore,generalizationisanotherimportantideaofbehaviorism.Lastbutnotleast,timelyfeedbackisaneq
3、uallyimportantviewofbehaviorists.Allthesearereallyhelpfultopeople’slanguagebothphysicallyandmentally.Whileinasense,shortcomingsandmeritsofbehaviorismandFLAaretwosidesofthesamecoin.TherearemainlytwodefectsofbehaviorismandFLA.Firstofall,thetheoryisunabletogiveananswertoalllanguagecharacte
4、ristics.Specifically,language’sdisplacementandpeople’sgrammaticalabilitycan’tbeexplainedinthisway.Secondly,behavioristsjustowelanguageacquisitiontoexternalenvironmentalstimulation,ignoringindividualeffect.Duringthecourseoflanguagelearning,wecan’tandshouldn’tforgetitsdrawbacks.Inaddition
