5、hesurroundingmedia(ligands)andthereforetheinfinite-barriermodelgivestheeffectiveradiusthatincludesthepenetrationlength.Thus,the“real”radiusofnanorodscanbeestimatedasrreal=r−lp,withlpgivenby2hlp=(2)2me(∆E−∆Ee)where∆EistheelectronaffinityofZnO(4.29eV[3])and
