3、at-bedmeltingpointapparatus,andmeltingpointsareuncorrected.FT-IRspectrawereobtainedonaPerkinElmerSpectrum1000spectrometer,withsamplesloadedasfilmsonNaClplates.1Hand13CNMRspectrawereobtainedonVarianUnity400orVarianMercury300spectrometersassolutionsinC
4、DCl3(with0.05%v/vTMS)orDMSO-d6.ProtonchemicalshiftswereinternallyreferencedtotheTMSprotonresonance(d0.00)forCDCl3,andtotheresidualprotonresonanceinDMSO-d6(d2.50).CarbonchemicalshiftswereinternallyreferencedtothedeuteratedsolventsignalsinCDCl3(d77.00)
5、andDMSO-d6(d39.51).Lowresolutionmassspectra(MS)wererecordedonaBellandHowell21-490spectrometer,andhighresolutionspectrawererecordedonanAEIMS3074spectrometer.Flashcolumnchromatographyonultrapuresilicagel(40-60mm,230-400mesh,obtainedfromWhatmanCompanySi
6、licycle)wasperformedwithreagentgradehexanesandethylacetate).Analyticalthin-layerchromatography(TLC),wasperformedonaluminum-backedpre-coatedsilicagelplates(0.2mmthickness,60Å,AlugramSilG/UV254purchasedfromMacherey-NagelGmbH&Co.),visualizedwithaUV254la
7、mp(Spectroline,LonglifeFilter),andstainedwithninhydrin.SolventsystemsusedtodetermineRfvaluesandforchromatographyarereportedasv/vratios.GeneralProcedureforthepreparationof2-AminobenzothiazolesToamixtureofthiourea(1)(0.5mmol,1equiv.),Cs2CO3(1.0mmol,2eq
