2、sesbutalsosupportstheexistenceofacross-overtransitionendingatacriticalendpoint(CEP).WefindatoolargevariationindeterminationofthecoordinatesoftheCEPinthetemperature(T),baryonchemicalpotential(µB)planeand,therefore,itsidentificationinthecurrentheavy-ionexperimentsbecomesdebatable.Hereweuseanequationofst

3、ate(EOS)foradeconfinedQGPusingathermodynamicallyconsistentquasiparticlemodelinvolvingquarksandgluonshavingthermalmasses.Wefurtheruseathermodynamicallyconsistentexcludedvolumemodelforthehadrongas(HG)whichwasrecentlyproposedbyus.Usingtheseequationsofstate,afirstorderdeconfiningphasetransitionisconstructe

4、dusingGibbs’criteria.Thisleadstoaninterestingfindingthatthephasetransitionlineendsatacriticalpoint(CEP)beyondwhichacross-overregionexists.UsingourthermalHGmodel,weobtainachemicalfreezeoutcurveandwefindthattheCEPliesincloseproximitytothiscurveasproposedbysomeauthors.ThecoordinatesofCEParefoundtoliewith
