3、eterminationofH2O2liberatedbytheenzymecholineoxidase(ChOx)wasfabricatedbyimmobilizationofChOxintoasolgelsilicatefilmonthemulti-wallcarbonnanotubes(MWCNT)modifiedplatinumelectrode.Cyclicvoltammetricresultsclearlyshowedthatcarbonnanotubespossessanexcellentelectrocatalyt
4、icactivitytowardstheoxidationofH2O2atalowpotential(0.16VversusAg/AgCl).TheremarkablecatalyticpropertyofMWCNTwasfurtherexploitedasaselectivedeterminationschemeforcholineinthepresenceofsomeelectroactivecompounds.Experimentalparametersofthecholinesensor,suchasappliedpo
5、tential,pH,andtemperaturewerestudied.Theperformanceofthesensorshowedsensitivedeterminationofcholinewithalinearrangefrom5×10−6to1×10−4Mandaresponsetimeoflessthan8s.Thedetectionlimitofcholinewasdeterminedtobeabout1×10−7M.Thisbiosensorwasusedtodetectcholinereleasedfrom
