4、awasanalyzedat4-cmintervalsforpollenassemblageandconcentration.Thepollenrecordspanningthelastca10;000yrrevealedadetailedhistoryofvegetationandclimatechangesovertheDaihaiLakeregionduringtheHolocene.Fromca10,250to7900calyrBP,aridherbsandshrubsdominatedthelakebasinincompanywithpatch
5、esofmixedpineandbroadleavedforests,indicatingamildanddryclimaticcondition.Overthisperiod,thewoodyplantsdisplayedanincreasingtrend,whichmaysuggestagradualincreaseinwarmthandhumidity.Theperiodbetweenca7900and4450calyrBPexhibitslarge-scalecoversofmixedconiferousandbroadleavedforests
6、,markingawarmandhumidclimate.Changesinthecompositionoftheforestsindicatethatbothtemperatureandprecipitationdisplayedobviousfluctuationsduringthisperiod,i.e.,coolandhumidca7900–7250calyrBP,warmandslightlyhumidca7250–6050calyrBP,warmandhumidbetweenca6050and5100calyrBP,mildandslightl
7、yhumidca5100–4800calyrBP,andmildandhumidca4800–4450calyrBP.TheperiodcanbeviewedastheHoloceneoptimum(characterizedbyawarmandmoistclimate)ofnorth-centralChina,withthemaximum(dominatedbothbywarmesttemperaturesandbyrichestprecipitations)occurringfromca6050to5100calyrBP.Duringtheperio
