1、浙江大学硕士学位论文AbstractDirectborohydridefuelcell(DBFC)ispromisingdirectliquidfuelcellduetoitshightheoreticalcellvoltageandhighenergydensity.However,theanodicoxidationofborohydrideinalkalinemediumisfoundtobeaccompaniedwithhydrogenevolutionthatreducesfuelefficiency.Therefore,howtodepresshydrogenevoluti

2、onwithoutimpairingpolarizationpropertiesbecomesthetargetofresearch.Inthisthesis,theanodicoxidationofborohy’drideonseveralelectrocatalystswasinvestigatedusingtheelectrochemicalmethods,XRDandTEMtechniques.Themainresultsobtained1.ThePdcatalystsupportedonmultiwalledcarbonnanotubes(Pd/MWCNT)wasprepar

3、edthroughtheliquidphasereductionmethodanditselectrocatalyticactivityforborohydrideoxidationwasinvestigated.Comparedwithothercarbon—supportedPdcatalysts,thePd/MWCNTcatalystdemonstratedimprovedpolarizationpropertiesduetoitssmallerPdparticlesandbetterdispersionofcatalystparticles.Thehydrogenevoluti

4、onbehavioronthePd/activatedcarbonsamplewasfoundtobedependentontheconcentrationsofNaOHandNaBIG.Ontheotherhand,borohy’drideoxidationonPd/carbonblackandPd/MWCNTdisplayednear4ereactionmechanisms.2.Theelectro-oxidationofborohydrideoncarbon—supportedAuandAgWasstudied.Theresultssuggestthatthefueleffici

5、encyofborohydrideelectro—oxidationishi曲lydependentontheconcentrationratioof[OH‘]/[BTG-].At【OH‘]/[BH4一】21,only3ereactionstoichiometrywasobtained.When【OH。]/[BIG-】Wasincreasedto2,thereactionWasmorethan4e.If【OH’]/[BIGqbecame5,thereactionwasfoundtobenear8e.Detailedcyclicvoltammetry(cv)studiesrevealth

6、atBH30H。isinvolvedinthe3ereactionwhen[OH’]/[BIG’】=1.Thenon一8ereactionstoichiometryoccurringonAuandAg,bothofwhichareinactiveforthechemicalhydrolysisreaction,suggeststhatthereexistsallinherentcompetitionbetweenOH。andH20duringborohvrdrideelectro-oxidation.IfOH’ionsarenotsufficientforeachBI-t4‘toacc
