1、Unit 5 Why do you like pandas? SectionA1a-1c教学设计北河庄中学曹丽辉 本单元的话题是“动物园里的动物”，功能为“描述动物”和“表达喜好”。通过本课的教学，要引导学生掌握重点句型“Why do you like...？”“Because they are...”，并学会运用本课所学的词汇和句型描述动物、表达个人的喜好，同时培养学生热爱自然、保护动物的意识。 教学目标 一语言知识 1）能掌握以下单词： tiger, elephant, panda, lion, koala, giraffe, cute, lazy, smart,
2、 beautiful, scary。2）能掌握以下 句型： 1. Let’s see the …? 2. Why do you want to see …? =Why do you like. .. ? 3. Because they are …. -Because they are. .. 二能力目标： ① To observe and describe animals. ② To talk about their preferences 三 情感态度价值观目标： 动物和人类都生活在同一地球上，动物是我们的朋友。我们人类应该与动物和谐相处，共
3、同生存。我们应当学会关爱动物，保护动物。 教学重难点 1. 教学重点： 1) 学会描述动物的性格及特点。 2) 学会表达喜欢某类动物及说明喜欢的原因。 2. 教学难点： 引导学生掌握重点句型“Why do you like...？”“Because they are...” 教学过程 Step1. Warming-up and lead in 让学生回忆以前学过的表示动物名称的单词。 学生通过小学英语的学习，已经初步了解一些简单的有关动物的英语单词。通过师生谈论动物名称可以使学生对本课的话题感兴趣，并且有一种成就感和自豪感。同时，实现新旧知识的衔接与已学知
4、识的巩固。 For example: T: Do you like animals? Ss: Yes! T: So do I. Can you name some animals? Ss: Dog, cat, tiger.fish, lion,pig.… T: You are all very clever. This lesson let's go to the zoo to see some more animals, OK? Ss: Yeah!T: Now let's see the map of the zoo, first. Ss: OK． Do you li
5、ke to go to the zoo? Do you like animals? Then have them to recall the animals they had learned and write theanimal on the blackboard as he/she can. ( e.g. animals---sheep, monkey, cat, dog, mouse, cow, duck… ) Step2. Present the new words 1教师通过图片向学生呈现新单词。 以图片的形式呈现新单词，更直观，更便于学生记忆。 1
6、．教师呈现本课时动物的图片，然后让学生用英语说出该图片中动物的名称。 For example: T: Look at the picture. What's this in English? Ss：Tiger. T: Spell it，please. Ss: T-I-G-E-R．教师领读单词，纠正学生发音。教师在多媒体上出示描述性的词语，引导学生用这些词语描述动物。（教师可以采用此法操练本课时其他的词汇，描述其它动物，然后让学生与学生之间操练。） 2.教师通过图片总结本课所学单词。让学生通过看图片用英语说出图中动物，检验学生对本课单词掌握情况。Ss look at
